How to list your property in Dehradun for free: a guide for owners, brokers and agents
You can list a house, flat, plot, shop or office in Dehradun on ILA Infra for free at ilainfra.com//post. Your name shows on the listing, and enquiries come straight to you.
Who can post a property on ILA Infra?
Anyone with a property to sell or rent in Dehradun. When you post, you choose whether you are the owner, an agent or a builder, and the listing says so. Buyers and tenants like to know who they are talking to, and an honest label saves everyone a wasted call.
You can post to sell, to rent out, as a holiday stay, or as a PG or co-living space. Houses, apartments, independent floors, villas, plots, offices, shops and farmhouses all have their own property type.
How do I post my property?
- Open Post property. It is free.
- Pick what you want to do: sell, rent out, list as a stay, or PG.
- Fill in the basics: property type, bedrooms, locality, area in square feet and furnishing.
- Enter the price, a title and a description.
- Add your name and mobile number, then publish.
The listing goes live after a quick check. Your mobile number is used to verify the listing and is not shown publicly.
What should I write in the listing?
Write the listing the way you would describe the place on the phone to a serious buyer.
- A specific title. "2 BHK on Sahastradhara Road, second floor, covered parking" beats "Beautiful flat for sale". Put the type, the size and the locality in it.
- The locality, exactly. Dehradun buyers search by area: Jakhan, Malsi, Sinola, Vasant Vihar, Ballupur. Pick the right one, and name the nearest landmark in the description.
- The facts people ask first. Floor, facing, parking, water supply, power backup, and how far the main road is.
- What is included. For rentals: furniture, appliances, who pays maintenance, and whether pets or bachelors are fine.
- What is not perfect. A steep approach road or a shared wall will come out on the visit anyway. Saying it upfront brings you fewer, better calls.
Read our own listings for the tone that works, for example the 1 BHK house for rent in Bisht Gaon or the commercial space near Pestle Weed College in Malsi.
Which photos get the most enquiries?
The first photo decides whether someone clicks. Take it in daylight, with lights on and curtains open.
- Start with the best room, usually the living room or the view, not the gate.
- Shoot from a corner at chest height so the room looks like its real size.
- Clear the clutter. Bags, laundry and vehicles in the frame make a home look smaller.
- Show every room once: kitchen, each bedroom, bathrooms, balcony, the building from outside and the approach road.
- Shoot horizontally. Listing pages and search results crop vertical photos.
- No filters, no watermarks. People want to see what they will see on the visit.
The form takes a photo link. If you have a full set of photos and need help getting them onto the listing, call us.
How should I price it?
Price it for the market, not for the hope. Before you set a number:
- Look at what is listed near you on rentals in Dehradun or property for sale in Dehradun with the same type, size and furnishing.
- Remember that listed prices are asking prices. Deals often close below them.
- For rentals, decide the deposit, the lock-in and the yearly increase before the first call, so you answer the same way to everyone.
- If you are open to negotiation, say "negotiable". It brings more calls than a number that looks fixed.
A price far above the area keeps a listing quiet for weeks. A fair price gets the visits, and visits get the deal.
How do enquiries reach me?
Every listing has a contact form. A buyer or tenant leaves their name, mobile number and a message, and can ask for a site visit on sale listings. The enquiry comes to us tied to your listing, and we pass it on so you can speak to the person directly. Your name shows on the listing as the owner, agent or builder, so the person who calls already knows who you are.
Answer quickly. Most people enquire on more than one property the same day, and the first owner who calls back usually gets the visit.
Why list on ILA Infra and not only on a large national portal?
ILA Infra works only in Dehradun and Uttarakhand. Our area pages, such as property in Jakhan and property in Malsi, are built around local searches, so your listing sits next to other homes and shops in the same part of the city. And there is a local team you can call, not a support ticket.
